Nodakian Studios produces high-fired ceramics. Each piece is wheel thrown and hand decorated and or altered. Pieces range from three-legged mugs and bowls, sgraffitoed crocks and canisters to a variety of colorful hanging planters. Each piece tells a story with abstract texture, drawings, and glaze. Higher-end pieces include teapots, decanters, bottles, and vases all using the same techniques. The group of work is meant to be used and shared not only for special occasions but everyday occasions making them special. All pieces are dishwasher safe, microwave safe, and food safe.
My name is Justin Cancilliere and I love telling stories. Led by mythical dreams and astounding visions that can only be described through writing, I'm in the business of scripting legends. My desire is to bring to life that which swarms in my mind and cascades into words. But it doesn't end there.
I take my artistic verbiage to podcasting as well. A place where I can discuss the weird and unusual. This, along with avid research into the paranormal, help quench my interest in the mystical.
I currently reside in Bismarck, North Dakota, where I enjoy the finer things in life with my beautiful wife, Shelly.
